Acting CCC mayor Alhaj M Monzur Alam yesterday inaugurated development work of the road behind Sagarika cattle market near Alonkar, says a press release.

The work estimated at Tk 26 laks funded by ADB  includes construction of culvert and drains with part CC plastering.

“ Development programmes under different projects will be enhanced in the next fiscal year”, the mayor said while addressing the occasion.

He also sought cooperation of all in implementing different development projects of the government.

In the evening, the mayor inaugurated the showroom of Hanimax at city’s Colonel Hat area by cutting ribbon and offering monajat.

Owners of the firm Ayub Kha, Nurul Alam Bhutto and local elites were present on the occasion.
