IWM and Bangladesh Water Development Board have started a joint experiment to tackle water logging in the port city, says a press release.

This was disclosed at a meeting in the office of acting CCC Mayor Alhaj Monzur Alam yesterday where officials of both the organizations participated.

Presided over by the acting mayor, the meeting was attended among others by Sr. Specialist of IWD, Mir Mostafa Kamal, Md. Anwar Hossain Bhuiyan, Sr. Design Specialist, Md. Humayun Kabir, Jr. Engr. Abdullah Hel Kafi, Engr. Mohammed Saifullah Talukder, Engr. Mohammed Sarafat Hossain Khan, Md. Azizul Hoq, CEO of CCC AKM Khairul Alam, Secy Md. Samsuzzuha, CRO Humayan Ahmed Khan, Chief Engr. Md. Nizam uddin, Executive Engr. Abu Saleh, Kamrul Islam, Anwar Hossain and Moniurl Huda
