Home secretaries to talk security Saturday

Home secretaries of India and Bangladesh will look to hammer out security issues when the meet on Saturday in Dhaka, an official said on Friday.

"Curbing criminals activities, narcotics smuggling and trafficking in women and children, and the Tin Bigha Corridor will be discussed in the meeting," home secretary Abdul Karim told bdnews24.com.
 
The talks will start at 12 noon at Dhaka Sheraton Hotel, he said.
 
A delegation from India led by its home secretary Madhukar Gupta arrived in Dhaka on Friday afternoon.
 
The Indian home secretary will meet with home adviser MA Matin on Sunday.
 
Foreign adviser Iftekhar Ahmed Chowdhury had earlier told bdnews24.com that security and other bilateral issues would be discussed in the home secretary-level talks.
