Azim Khair quits as deputy attorney general

MA Azim Khair Manna, a deputy attorney general, resigned his post Sunday for "personal reasons", an official said, reports bdnews24.com.

Azim Khair submitted his resignation letter to the law ministry, said Abdul Quddus, administrative officer of the Attorney General's Office.

The ministry will forward the letter to the president's office.

Azim Khair was appointed as deputy attorney general on Oct 31, 2001.
