Low in Bay brings gloomy skies, rain
Wednesday, 28 May 2008

The sky remains cloudy across the country with intermittent rains due to a low over the north-west Bay of Bengal and adjacent coastal areas, the meteorological office said Tuesday.

Meteorologist Ayesha Khatun told bdnews24.com that the sky might not clear and look dull and gloomy through a couple of days more due to the low.

The weather office this morning in its forecast for the next 24 hours said, many places in Khulna, Barisal and Chittagong divisions and some localities in other divisions may see gusty to squally winds or experience spells of thunder shower.

Maritime ports of Chittagong and Cox's Bazar have been asked to hoist local cautionary signal no 3, the met official said.
