The sixth South Asian Federation Friendship Camp, with the theme 'Scouting for Peace and Friendship', is set to start Sunday at the National Scout Training Centre in Gazipur.

Chief adviser Fakhruddin Ahmed is expected to inaugurate the week-long camp from Oct 12-18.
"All preparations of the camp are complete," Bangladesh Scouts public relations officer Md Delwar Hussain said.
As many as 350 rover scouts and officials of SAARC (South Asian Association for Regional Cooperation) countries, including Bangladesh, India, Bhutan, Nepal, Sri Lanka, Maldives, Pakistan and Afghanistan, are taking part in the camp, he said.
The participants will join in discovery activities, excursions, cultural programmes, youth forums and a 'Youth Parliament'.
President Iajuddin Ahmed will be present as chief guest at Youth Parliament programme on Oct 16.
The SAF Friendship Camp began its journey in 2002, to extend and exchange scouting programmes among SAARC member countries.
