REUTERS, NEW DELHI- Indian art might be just the solution for investors seeking a safe haven at a turbulent time.

Take a vivid landscape by avant-garde artist Francis Newton Souza hanging on a wall in Indian art dealer Ashish Anand's New Delhi gallery. With a price tag of $400,000, the painting might not seem like a bargain but Abnand says it will probably be worth $2 million within the next two years.

AFP, TOKYO - Nomura Holdings said Tuesday it will buy the European and Middle Eastern equities and investment banking operations of Lehman Brothers for an undisclosed sum.

The announcement came a day after the top Japanese brokerage group confirmed a deal to buy all Asian operations of the collapsed US investment firm.

AP, NEW YORK  -- Google Inc.'s announcement last year that it would give away software that could run cell phones was met by dizzy accolades from analysts who thought it would let the search engine company conquer the world of mobile advertising.

On Tuesday, a fruit of that announcement is set to drop: T-Mobile USA will reveal the first phone to use Android, Google's software platform, at a New York news conference.
