Spinner Abdur Razzak pulled off a spectacular hat-trick to help Bangladesh thrash Zimbabwe by six wickets in Mirpur on Friday.

Chasing 192 atSher-e-Bangla National Stadium, Bangladesh reached the target in the 40th over to level the five-match Micromax one-day international series 1-1.

Raqibul Hasan smashed 65 and Junaid Siddique struck 53 to knock off the target. Captain Shakib Al Hasan and wicketkeeper-batsman Mushfiqur Rahim were unbeaten.

Zimbabwe were shot out for 191 all out in 46.2 overs with Craig Ervine top-scoring and remaining unbeaten on 42. Keith Dabengwa struck 30 and Brendan Taylor made 28.

Man-of-the-match Razzak returned with a five-wicket haul for 30 runs. His left-arm spin partner Shakib gave away nine more runs to claim four scalps.

Junaid hit six boundaries and one six in is 79-bal innings while, Siddique, dropped on 1 by skipper Elton Chigumbura, played 83 balls and hit four boundaries and one six. They fashioned a 72-run partnership for the third wicket to give the Tigers a solid base for the easy win.

Razzak justified the decision to field first by having Regis Chakabva stumped and then he trapped Tatenda Taibu lbw, before claiming his hat trick late on in Zimbabwe's innings. Both made 21.

Zimbabwe went ahead in the series by winning the first match by nine runs on Wednesday. The third match is on Monday in Dhaka.
