Lailatul Qadr will be observed across the country with due respect and religious solemnity on Monday night.
This night is believed to be the night when Allah revealed the Quran to the Prophet Hazrat Mohammad (SM).
Muslim devotees all over the world spend this night offering prayers, ebadat-bandegi, zikir-askar, khatme Quran and milad mahfil for the Almighty's grace.
Mosques around the country, including Baitul Mukarram National Mosque, will be holding special munazats and milad mahfils.
Baitul Mukarram Mosque will start tilawat, hamd, nat, milad and munazat from Monday night. The mosque will start nafal ebadat and baad fazar akheri munazat from midnight.
Arambagh Dewanbagh Sharif 'Bab-e-Rahmat' mosque will hold special Asheq-e-Rasul (SM) mahfil on Monday night, between maghrib and fazar prayer. The mahfil will consist of recitation from the holy Quran, waz mahfil and milad mahfil.
President Zillur Rahman, prime minister Sheikh Hasina, and opposition chief Khaleda Zia have greeted countrymen on the occasion.
