The holy Shab-e-Barat will be observed across the country on July 27.
The decision came from a meeting of the National Moon Sighting Committee at the Islamic Foundation.
The Foundation said in a statement on Monday that the moon of Sha'ban month of Hijri 1431 could be sighted nowhere in the country.
The Rajab month of the current Hijri will reach its end on Tuesday.
The month of Sha'ban will begin on July 14.
