'No Tipai Steps Harming Bangladesh' |

Indian prime minister Manmohan Singh has said his country would not take any step on Tipaimukh dam that would adversely affect Bangladesh.
She gave the assurance at his meeting with prime minister Sheikh Hasina at Hyderabad House in New Delh in the evening, Hasina's press secretary Abul Kalam Azad told journalists at 10:00pm local time.
Azad added that a joint communiqué on the one-and-a-half-hour meeting of the two leaders might come on Tuesday.
Hasina told Singh that all that good for the citizens of two countries will be done, according to Azad who added that the two countries would work together to fight terrorism.
