Apparently caught in a whirlwind of procrastination, charge framing in the August 21 grenade attack murder case has again been deferred to Sept 24.

Judge Md Mazdar Hossain of Dhaka's number 1 Speedy Trial Tribuna on Wednesday pushed back the date for the fifth time.
 
Special public prosecutor (PP) Firoz Qamrul Hasan told bdnews24.com that on the next date, there would be no excuse entertained for delaying the hearing any more.
 
Hasan said, "The same 408 persons happen to be the witnesses involved in both Aug 21 grenade attack case and the Aug 21 grenade attack murder case. So, their testimonies can be used in both cases to save time, expense and work."
 
The judge accepted the PP's argument, he said.
