The High Court on Sunday granted former commerce minister Amir Khasru Mahmud Chowdhury three-month bail in two cases.

The HC bench of justices Mirza Hossain Haider and Mamnun Rahman also stayed the case proceedings for the same period.

The former minister filed the writ petitions with the HC earlier Sunday challenging the proceedings of the GATCO case against him, and a case involving allocation of 18 government houses.
