Agency The council of advisers has decided to consult the public when it comes to changing or formulating rules and regulations, according to an official statement. The cabinet decision on Wednesday followed recommendations made in the second interim report of the Regulatory Reforms Commission, according to the statement. Quoting the chief adviser's press officer, Syed Fahim Munaim, the statement said the proposed or existing rules and regulations would be published on the web to solicit public opinion. The authorities will give three weeks for the members of the public to respond, it said, and publicise the website address through newspapers advertisements. For this necessary amendments would be made to the Section 31 of the government's Rules of Business, the statement said. The cabinet sent back the Shishu Hospital Ordinance, 2008 and Non-realisable Public Services Bill Ordinance, 2008 for further scrutiny. The advisers, the special assistants and the cabinet secretary were present in the meeting.
