Results of the 2008 Higher Secondary Certificate and equivalent examinations are to be published Sept 10, Comilla education board chief, Professor M Atikur Rahman, said Wednesday.

"If everything goes as planned and government permits, results will be published on Sept 10," Professor Atikur told bdnews24.com on Wednesday.
 
Prof Monirul Islam, chairman of Dhaka Intermediate and Secondary Education Board, had earlier said that they were working to publish the HSC and equivalent exam results within two months of their holding.
 
According to the education ministry, a total of 6,20,020 examinees took the HSC, Alim and HSC (BM) exams this year; of them, 5,02,79 were HSC examinees, 62,505 were Alim examinees, and 54,719 sat the HSC (BM) exams.
 
The HSC and equivalent exams were held under the management of seven general education boards, as well as the madrasah board overseeing the Alim exams and a separate board for the HSC (Business Management) exams, between May 29 and July 10.
