Swarup Battacharjee: The country has seen for the maiden time successful cornea replacement in an exceptional way on non-government level. The operation was done at " Vision Center" at Panchlaish in Chittagong. When asked father of the Ayesha Akhter(14), the patient said, he got his daughter with severe eye pain admitted at Vision Center on January. Dr. Hannan told this correspondent that Ayesha was suffering from fungal cornea ulcer and her condition was serious.
