The United Arab Emirates is keen to host the 2010 edition the Asia Cup after the Asian Cricket Council (ACC) said the next tournament would be held in a non test-playing country, reports Reuters. The UAE is hoping its sizable ethnic South Asian population and its state-of-the art facilities will win them the rights to stage the competition, contested by Bangladesh, India, Pakistan, Hong Kong, UAE and Sri Lanka, who won this year's edition. "Among all the non-test playing countries, UAE has the best facilities," ACC president Nasim Ashraf told Tuesday's Gulf News, adding that a decision would likely be made within six months.
