Officials with the Department of Narcotics Control arrested a film actress, a model and their friend with Yaba tablets in Pallabi on Friday.

Acting on a tip-off, the officials raided a flat of Rupnagar Housing in Pallabi around 10:30pm, DNC assistant director Fazlur Rahman told bdnews24.com.
 
The DNC members seized 18 Yaba tablets and arrested film actress Yasmin Shikdar Mow, model Bipasha Akhter Munni and their friend Kaisarul Islam, a first-year student of Mirpur College.
 
Mow has starred in 18 films and Munni has acted as a model in a series of music videos.
 
The arrestees have a history of peddling Yaba tablets from their apartment, the NDC officials alleged.
 
A case has been filed with Pallabi Police Station.
