UK minister Shahid Malik leaves Dhaka PDF Print E-mail

The UK's junior minister for International Development Shahid Malik left Dhaka on Friday for Kathmandu, reports bdnews24.com.

The minister left for Nepal via New Delhi in the morning on a Jet Airways flight, William Arnall-Culliford, head of press and public affairs for the British High Commission in Dhaka, told bdnews24.com.

Malik came to Dhaka as part of a regional tour on June 18.

He met finance adviser AB Mirza Azizul Islam, army chief General Moeen U Ahmed and other high ranking officials during his visit.

The junior minister also visited a number of projects funded by the UK's Department for International Development (DFID).
