- India and Nepal Police moved into the International Beach Volleyball (men's) final beating Bangladesh Rifles and Bangladesh Navy in semifinals here Wednesday.

India handed a 21-19 and 21-13 defeat to Bangladesh Rifles while Nepal Police defeated Bangladesh Navy 21-15 and 21-17.

Besides, Indian women's team set their final clash with Indonesian women's team as India beat Abahani Limited 21-16 and 21-5 while Indonesia outplayed Nepal Police 21-7 and 21-6.

Both finals are scheduled for Friday with Bangladesh Volleyball Federation's vice president and chairman of Ifad Group Iftekhar Ahmed Tipu distributing prizes among the winners.

The place-deciding matches of both groups will take place Thursday with Bangladesh Navy playing against Bangladesh Rifles in men's group. Abahani Limited take on Nepal Police in the women's group.
