Four killed in Manikganj bus crash |

Four people died when a bus drove off the road into a ditch in Muljan on the Dhaka- Aricha highway Saturday morning, police said, reports bdnews24.com. Two of the accident victims were from the same family; around twenty others were hurt in the mishap.
Acting officer in charge of Manikganj Sadar police Yasin Ali said the CNG-driven bus, bound for Dhaka from Paturia, lost control and crashed into the roadside ditch around 11.30 in the morning.
"One passenger died at the spot and three others died at hospital. Twenty other passengers are injured," said the police officer.
The deceased have been identified as Reshma Begum, wife of 'Rafique' from Baradia village in Shibalaya, her sister Rima Begum, wife of 'Joynal' of the same village, Manju Rani Roy of Manikganj and Ismail of Pansha in Rajbari.
The injured have been admitted to Manikganj Sadar Hospital. Three of them are suffering from severe burns sustained when the CNG cylinder of the bus exploded.
