Working class asked to contribute to nat’l economy

Acting CCC Mayor in a message on May Day said, working class of people are one of the builders of human civilization.

It is through their labor, activities that human civilization has come to exist, he observed.

Referring to the incident of Mexico city of America in 1886, he pointed that the movement by workers for 8-hour a day is an epoch making event while he also endorsed the contribution of working class of people in all movements including that for independence of Bangladesh.

The mayor called on them to take care to contribute to the national economy, says a press release.
