Ban on racial politics, trial of war criminals demanded PDF Print E-mail

The souls of martyred freedom fighters will  get solace only when war criminals will be tried at special tribunal.

The only way to address the grief of their relatives is to ban communal politics as well as to ensure trial of war criminals.

Speakers made these observations at the reminiscence of Genocide Day at Raozan Unsottor Para on the occasion of 46th founding anniversary of Shatadal Sangha recently.

Dr. Shyamol Kanti Biswas, VC of CUET attended the function held at the organization premises as Chief Guest.

Educationist Babu Horekrishna Paul presided over the meeting while Badal Chandra Sikdar of BTA, Kamaluddin, former Raozan Thana Commander, Tofael Ahmed, ex-Chittagong Dist Sadar Unit Commander, ex-commander Abu Zafar Chy, FF Saleh Ahmed, Sadal Chandra Kar and journalist Sowkat Bangali were present as special guests.

Besides Rezaul Karim, Milon Kanti Shil, Ratan Barua, Chitta Biswas, Manik Chandra Nath, Kiron Battacharjee, Shamsul Alam, Ram Krishna Paul, Dulal Krishna Paul, Adv Milon Kanti Chy, Sree Krishna Paul, Dost Mohammed Khan and Partha Sarati Rudra also spoke on the occasion.

The function was conducted jointly by Pijosh Paul and Ranjan Chakraborti, said a press release.
