Detained Awami League President Sheikh Hasina was taken to Square Hospital here Thursday afternoon and then taken back to makeshift jail after the checkup of her ears, reports UNB.

Hospital sources said Hasina was taken to the hospital at about 4:45 pm. Four specialist physicians-Dr Sahil Mahmud, Dr Shah Alam, Dr Mizan and Dr Sanwar-examined her ears and conducted other medical checkups.

She was taken back to the makeshift jail at about 5:45 PM. Deputy Inspector General (Prisons) Major Shamsul Haider Siddiqui told UNB that there was nothing to be worried about her physical condition.

"The Physicians prescribed here medicine." She would be taken to the hospital again soon for further checkup, Shamsul Haider said.
