Dhiren Ghorami, 60, his wife Radha Rani, 42, their two sons Khokan Ghorami, 26, and Ratan Ghorami, 10, and Khokan's wife Taposhi, 18, died instantly after the accident, Sarker said.

The 13-month old son of Khokan and Taposhi was the lucky survivor, local union parishad chairman Shamsul Haque told The family has been living in that house for 10 years, he said.

The fire fighters recovered the bodies trapped under the truck after three hours' struggle. The rescuers saved the baby after it cried out aloud from under the rubble. The baby is doing fine, the chairman said.
