The Anti-Corruption Commission is going to file cases against detained former Prime Minister''s younger son Arafat Rahman Koko and Dhaka City mayor Sadek Hossain Khoka soon for amassing illegal wealth and concealing information in their wealth statements, reports UNB. "The inquiry report on Koko''s wealth statement has been submitted to the Commission and the vetting of the ACC lawyers took place (Tuesday). Following the Commission''s approval, a case can be filed any day," a competent source told UNB. Replying to a query, the source said inquiry officer deputy director Abu Sayeed found that Koko has ill-gotten money and he had concealed information in his wealth statement. The report recommended filing of a case against him, the sources added. About Dhaka City Mayor Khoka, the sources said inquiry officer assistant director Samsul Islam has submitted the inquiry report recommending filing of a case against him for acquiring wealth worth about Tk 13 crore beyond his known sources of income, including concealment of information of assets worth about Tk 3 crore.
