A total of 156 examinees and four invigilators were expelled under nine educational boards of the country Sunday on the second day of the ongoing Secondary School Certificate (SSC) and its equivalent examinations for adopting unfair Means, reports UNB. Examination-control room said the highest 55 examinees were expelled under the Technical Education Board, as usual, while 38 under Madrasah Education Board, 20 under Dhaka Board, 17 under Rajshahi Board, 10 under Barisal Board, six under Comilla Board, five under Jessore Board, four under Chittagong Board and one under Sylhet Board. Four invigiliators were expelled allegedly for aiding the students in adopting unfair means under Jessore and Barisal Education Boards and Madrasah and Technical Educational Boards. The expelled invigilators are Matiar Rahman, headmaster of Chondipur High School in Jessore, Bakul Chandra Das, Sonapur High School in Bhola, Nazmul Islam, teacher of SB Madinatun Ulum Dakhil Madrasah in Pirojpur, and Ashfaqur Rahman, teacher of Sherpur Universal Technical & BM College. Last year, a total of 199 examinees and 10 invigilators were expelled on the second day of examinations under the nine educational boards. |
