Condition of detained ailing Awami League esident Sheikh Hasina who is receiving treatment at the Square hospital was not stated ''good'' by her lawyers on Saturday, reports UNB.

Hasina''s top counsel Barrister Shafique Ahmed who met Hasina in the afternoon told UNB that 25percent of her left eye vision has been damaged due to negligence of the concerned authorities.

Shafique, Adv Shahara Khatun and Adv Qamrul Islam met her at the hospital and consulted with her in connection with the cases she is facing. They stayed there for nearly an hour.

"She is not fit to come out from the hospital for appearing before the special court (Sunday) set up at the parliament building complex in connection with the Khulna barge-mounted power plant deal case," Shafique said.

Hasina''s nuclear scientist husband Dr Wazed Mia met her at the hospital and stayed there for nearly one and half-hour from 7:40pm. Wazed was accompanied by grandson Shamim and granddaughter Shamu.
