Staff Correspondent A Saudi Airlines Boeing 747 plane caught fire in one of its engines immediately after landing at Zia International Airport Tuesday. All the passengers were evacuated safely from the plane after it caught fire at 2.45pm, a civil aviation official told bdnews24.com. The fire was quickly doused, officials with the Kurmitola Fire Service said. The plane—a regular flight—carrying 324 passengers came from Medina to Dhaka. The damaged plane was removed from the runway and grounded. There was no disruption to the flight schedule of the airport.
