A touchstone made idol of Hindu Lord Shiva was recovered at Gunjannagar village in Kaliganj upazila early Sunday, reports UNB.

Acting a tip-off, police searched a water tank on the premises of the dilapidated castle of King Pramatha Bhushan Dev Roy Bahadur at about 1am and recovered the 30-Kg statue worth about Tk 5 crore.

Police suspected that some smugglers kept the precious statue in the tank for sale.
