A three-day international education fair began at the Dhaka Sheraton Hotel on Friday.

Former adviser to the caretaker government CM Shafi Sami inaugurated the exhibition organised by SSBCL Group.

The Malaysian high commissioner in Dhaka, Dato Abdul Malek Bin Abdul Aziz, daily Amar Desh editor Amanullah Kabir and SSBCL chairman and managing director S Talukder, among others, addressed the inaugural session.

Thirty universities from 15 countries, including Europe, America and Australia, and organisations concerned in 40 booths are offering spot admission, scholarships, discounts and education loan and information on a wide range of education courses.

This is an ideal opportunity to meet with and talk to counsellors and students and interact with the representatives of foreign institutes and delegates at the same venue, the organisers said.

The organisers said a similar exhibition will be held at Peninsula Hotel in Chittagong on March 18-19.
