The four-day first calligraphy exhibition of Arifur Rahman ended at the Ashwini Kumar Hall in Barisal on Friday.

Thirty calligraphies and motifs in Arabic and Bangla were put on display at the exhibition, organised by Bangladesh Calligraphic Academy.

Professor Sirajuddin Ahmed, principal of BM College, was chief guest at the concluding session with businessman and social worker Sarfuddin Ahmed Shantu in the chair.

Professor MA Sattar Majumdar, Nurul Amin, Shamim Ahmed and Lutfe Alam, among others, addressed the concluding session, conducted by journalist Azad Alauddin, also the member secretary of the exhibition committee.

Professor Enamur Rahman, convener of the exhibition committee and former chairman of Bangla department of Barisal BM College, gave the vote of thanks.
