A BTTB director has been arrested with alleged links to corruption in Dhaka, a police officer said Friday.

Md Tawfiq, director of Bangladesh Telegraph and Telephone Board for Chittagong zone, was arrested at his Maghbazar home Thursday midnight, Ramna police chief Daulat Akbar told bdnews24.com.

"He was arrested under the emergency powers rules," he said
