BRSF affiliated fair of INTEL ISEF

International Sustainable World Project Olympiad (I-SWEEEP) and Intel International Science & Engineering Fair (INTEL ISEF) will kick off in Houston and Atlanta USA on May 1 & 11, 2008 respectively, says a press release.

Students from more than 45 nations compete for around US $4 million scholarships,tuition grants & internships. Six students, competed in ISEF have already become Nobel Laureates.

Meanwhile Bangladesh Regional Science Fair (BRSF) 2008 has been listed as one of the affiliated fairs of International Science & Engineering Fair Network .

International School Dhaka (ISD) will host the BRSF 2008 Dhaka Event on 28th March 2008. Organizing BRSF 2008, will pave the way to utilize local resources by means of local engineering to improve the socio-economic status of Bangladesh.

At the same time it will promote the awareness of Science,Engineering & Technology and guide a way to solve the unemployment problem.

Participating in International event may result in arranging institutional funding, grants, scholarships & internships to country’s young scientists. The foreign investors may give attention to invest in the ICT ndustry of Bangladesh. Even this could be considered as the platform to transfer technology from other countries to Bangladesh.
