Jalil gets one-month parole: officialAwami League general secretary Abdul Jalil will be paroled for overseas treatment, IG (prisons) Md Zakir Hasan told Sunday.

"Abdul Jalil will be released on parole within an hour from the time we get the letter for approval," he said.

Hasan confirmed that the government had decided to release the AL leader on one-month parole Jalil's wife sought to take her husband to Singapore, Zakir said.
