The establishment on Saturday transferred six joint secretaries, according to a gazette notification.

Munshi Alauddin Al Azad, joint secretary of the agriculture ministry, and Faruk Ahmed, director of the military lands and cantonment directorate, have been interchanged.

Md Hasan Imam, director of the Bangladesh Insurance Academy, has been sent to the communications ministry as joint secretary to replace Shafiq Ahmed Mehedi, who has been made chairman of the Bangladesh Parjatan Corporation.

Ahmed Hossain Khan, commissioner to the Commissioner’s Office for Refugee Relief and Repatriation in Cox’s Bazar, and Md Shamsul Alam Khan, joint secretary of the science and ICT ministry, have also been interchanged.
