A meeting of Governing Body(GB) of Aparna Charan City Corporation Girls High School was held in the city with acting CCC mayor Alhaj M Monzur Alam in the chair Sunday, says a press release.

Speakers stressed the need of regular attendance of teachers and students at the school in a bid to improve quality of education.

Besides the meeting also okayed annual budget of the school, building two tin-shed rooms as part of expansion work and holding annual prize distribution ceremony at city’s Muslim Hall on Mar 20 . Vice President of the school committee, M Zahirul Alam Dobash, Ward Commissioner, advocate Sattar, member, Md. Abul Kalam Azad, Ahmed Hossain, Darmeshwar Sramon and school Headmistress Momota Begum were present on the occasion.
