Our Correspondent The students of the Northern Private Medical College in Rangpur observed a token hungers strike for five hours to push for their five-point demands. They also threatened hunger strike for an indefinite period from Wednesday until their demands are met. The demands include formation of a governing body and academic council, arrangement of adequate bodies for practical classes, procurement of operation equipment, and enough books for the college library and completion of the registration for the first-year final examinations, scheduled for July. |
