A group of Dhaka University students under the banner of Students' Movement against Repression on Sunday brought out a procession demanding that Bangladesh should recognise Kosovo as an independent state.

They paraded the campus after a brief rally at Aparajeya Bangla where they demanded recognition of Kosovo as an independent state.

They urged the government to immediately recognise the new nation as it had fought for years for independence, said a release.
