UN mission Staff Correspondent A team of Bangladesh Police left Dhaka Friday midnight to join a UN peace-keeping mission in Congo on a UN chartered flight. Assistant inspector general of police (UN desk) Md Ekramul Habib saw off the 125 member team led by police super Mir Shahidul Islam at Zia International Airport. Members of Bangladesh Police are working in different peace missions in Congo, East Timor, Ivory Coast and Sudan. |
