Md Mosharaf Hossain Bhuiyan, an officer on special duty (additional secretary), has been transferred to the Economic Relations Division as additional secretary.

The establishment ministry issued a gazette notification to the effect on Wednesday.

Md Hafizur Rahman, a project director under the housing and public works ministry, has been sent to the President's Office as joint secretary and Md Mainul Haq, member of the Bangladesh Inland Water Transport Authority, has been transferred to the land ministry as joint secretary.

Md Ataur Rahman, an officer on special duty, has been sent to the Energy and Mineral Resources Division as joint secretary to replace Md Alauddin, who has been made BIWTA member, according to another official order issued on the day.

Nasrin Akhter, a deputy secretary, has been promoted to the rank of joint secretary and made an officer on special duty.
