Rapid Action Battalion picked up two suspected drug peddlers and seized 175 grams of heroin from two places in the city on Monday and Tuesday.

A team of the elite force conducted a drive at Niharika Residential Area under Akhaliya and arrested Nazrul, 25, son of Sekander, of the area. They also seized 75 grams of heroin from his possession.

In another drive, the battalion members arrested Saiful, 23 and seized 100 grams of heroin from a hotel on Stadium Road under Dakkhin Surma in the city Monday night, RAB sources said.

The arrested were handed over to the Kotwali police Tuesday afternoon.
