The size of the Indian domes­tic film industry is likely to double to 400 billion rupees (around $10b) in  the next three years, creating employ­ment opportunities for about six million people by 2010, lo­cal newspaper; The Financial Express reported Saturday.

The film industry is ex­pected to produce 1,200 mov­ies annually in different lan­guages and local dialects, the industry body, the Associated Chambers or Commerce and Industry of India said.
